Did you know that your dog’s gut bacteria health can have an impact on your training success?

If their gut bacteria is out of balance it affects their brain chemicals and this can mean that they are a little bit like a depressed human... Their get up and go got up and went! – Their ability to take on new learning is limited. Their ability to enjoy play is limited!

There is a WHOLE DOG in front of you: So we have to consider all parts of that dog...

GUT HEALTH impacts…

BRAIN HEALTH which impacts…

TRAINING SUCCESS

So as you can see if the Gut health is poor then everything else is affected!

The Gut microbiome is VERY important for training success.

But wait a minute! – There’s MORE to know...

THE CIRCLE OF LIFE!

Anxiety, Stress and Lack of Calmness can harm the dog’s gut microbiome.

Which means that it can become a vicious cycle...

Anxiety in the dog impacts the gut health which impacts the brain health which impacts the training which makes it harder to calm the dog down... so their anxiety impacts gut health etc

This sounds impossible to solve right?

Wrong! – We need to look at what we CAN do to help our dogs.

WHAT IS POSSIBLE:

You CAN train your dog to be CALMER... this is not a myth.. It might take a bit of effort though... I notice so often people want instant success in dog training!! – I can show you and talk you through various ways to teach your dog to be able to be calm.

HERE’s a QUICK START Towards creating CALMNESS:

Licking is a calming activity for a dog. So invest in a licky mat and feed some of your dog’s meal spread on a licky mat.

Here’s a link to buy licky mats:

You could also use Kongs and other safe, stuffable toys to help the dog have an elongated time “working” for their food stuffed within the kong. This requires more licking and can be a very calming experience for the dog. Here’s a link to some KONGs on Amazon

WHAT ELSE IS POSSIBLE?

You CAN influence your dog’s gut microbiome!

In 2 ways:

1.     Make sure you are feeding a GOOD quality dog food. Find out more about what is rated as a good dog food on this website: https://www.allaboutdogfood.co.uk

2.     Add something to your dog’s diet created specifically to solve this problem. Let me introduce you to A-OK9 CALM powder.

·      New vet-developed formula – no other product exists to support brain and gut in the way that Calm-K9 does.

·      High-quality natural ingredients – made with mood-boosting Tryptophan, Passiflora and Lemon Balm and a gut-supporting probiotic and L-glutamic, simply add to your dog’s food once daily!

·      Helps all dogs – whatever the breed, age or size of your dog.

It’s called calm k9 but it doesn’t sedate your dog it just balances their gut bacteria so they are healthier from the inside out and their brain is free to develop happy chemicals which enable them to be able to learn to be calmer.

Calm K9 is well named as many users of the product see an improvement in their dog’s calmness levels. This is most likely because the dog is happier and their gut is no longer troubling them leading to anxiety behaviours.

My dogs have been on Calm K9 since December 2019. A scoop a day on their evening meal. I don't have miracle type testimonies, though I can state that my dogs are very calm at home (though hard to say whether that is due to training or suppliments or the combination of both!). But I can say for sure that since using it all 3 of my dogs seem to have better focus in training and my youngest Cockapoo has stopped chewing on her foot (this behaviour can often be due to stress, and her foot had become very sore.) So I am happy with it and I know it’s keeping them healthier on the inside.

Other additions I have used on my dog’s food for natural flea protection (Billy no Mates) and for dental health (Plaque-off) look like dry crushed leaves (look like loose tea!) But Calm K9 is a lovely fine powder that disappears into the dog food... it seems much more palatable!

And of-course - You can add it to a licky mat or KONG (that’s how I always deliver it to my dogs) So you can increase the CALMNESS with its delivery!
